Our water and wastewater charges

Current charges

At the moment, you pay your local council for water and wastewater services at rates set by them. In time, we will set charges and bill you directly.

Charges that apply for the financial year spanning 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027 can be found in the council information linked to below.

Targeted rates for water and wastewater services: These are listed on pages 57-59 of the council’s 2026/7 Annual Plan.
Fees and charges: The ‘wastewater connections’ and ‘water connections and bulk water sales’ charges are listed on pages 50-51 of the council’s schedule of fees and charges document. Trade waste charges and the calculation methodology can be found on pages 47-48.
Development contribution charges: The development contribution fee summary is on pages 19-20 of the council’s policy document. The catchment maps are available in appendix two on pages 52-69.
