At the moment, you pay your local council for water and wastewater services at rates set by them. In time, we will set charges and bill you directly.
Waipā District Council charges
- Service charges: The ‘sewerage rates’ and ‘water rates’ for the 2026/27 financial year starting on 1 July 2026 are listed on pages 2-3 of the council report on the adoption of the 2026/27 Annual Plan.
- Connection charges: The ‘wastewater connections’ and ‘water connections and bulk water sales’ charges for the 2025-27 period are listed on pages 50-51 of the council’s schedule of fees and charges document.
- Development contribution charges: The development contribution fee summary is on pages 19-20 of the council’s policy document. The catchment maps are available in appendix two on pages 52-69.
Waitomo District Council
- Service charges: The water and wastewater service charges for the 2026/27 financial year starting on 1 July 2026 are listed in sections 3.4-3.7 of the council report on the adoption of the 2026/27 Annual Plan. Bulk water and trade waste charges are summarised on this fees and charges document.
- Connections charges: Costs associated with water and wastewater connections are summarised on this fees and charges document.
South Waikato District Council
- Service charges: The ‘water supply charge’ and ‘wastewater disposal charge’ for the 2026/27 financial year starting on 1 July 2026 are listed on pages 2-3 of the council report on the adoption of the 2026/ 27 Annual Plan.
- Connection charges: The ‘sewer connections’ administration fee is on page 29 of the council’s fees and charges document, and the ‘water connections’ and ‘water supply’ fees are on pages 40-41.
